Beauty Tip of the week:
Make sure you give yourself 8 hours of sleep every nite. The reason they call it beauty sleep is because it is exactly that! Ladies who get 8 hours look younger than those who are nite owls.

I just have a question. How do I know what kind of pants to buy that will look good on me? I am short and have a generous back end. Please help without telling me to go on a diet.

Dear anonymous,
The truth is that very few woman have wonder woman figures but you certainly can avoid pants that are not flattering to your body shape. To answer your question I would wear dark colors as they give the appearance of slimmer and longer. Do not wear pants with large pockets on the back because they make the back end even look larger. Capri pants are very comfortable but make you look shorter. But because you live in Arizona and still want to have the comfort of a capri then make sure it is of a darker plain color with no prints. It also is best if they end below your knee and the legs are somewhat tappered and no cuffs. If you want to be in style but do not want to wear pants that are just in style but do not flatter you do not wear really low rise jeans. Pick a pair that are maybe 1" to 1 1/2 " below your belly button. If you have pants that are high rise and tapered pants...please get give them to Goodwill now unless you want yur hips to look larger and your tummy bigger. Pick a straight or wide leg with a flat front. Avoid side pockets that add width to your hips. Wearing pants too tight also makes the heavy look heavier as well as too baggy. So pick them so that they fit just right. I hope this helps you. : )
